Chester-le-Street 2 Darlington 5 (after extra time)

Quakers Under 18s are through to the second qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup after winning 5-2 at Chester-le-Street.

Quakers trailed 1-0 with five minutes left, but Danny Raw levelled when he scored after Dale Milburn’s shot was parried to force extra time.

Ten minutes into extra time, Dale Milburn curled a shot into the top corner, but then Chester equalised.

Quakers responded instantly when Danny Raw found himself one-on-one and put Quakers back in front, and the constant pressure paid off when Joey Smith finished with a left foot shot to make it 4-2.

The last goal came from Ethan Harker who placed the ball in the corner.

Man of the match was James Donahue.

Quakers are now away to Shildon on 19th September, kick off 7.30pm
