Quakers head to Nuneaton on Saturday hoping to improve our away record.
Quakers have collected only six points from seven away trips this season, although that return could have been better considering the number of chances that were missed at North Ferriby and Curzon Ashton, when we failed to pick up maximum points.
Phil Turnbull, who will probably make his 100th appearance for the club on Saturday, and Gary Brown are again in charge of team affairs, the pair of them having helped Quakers to a 1-1 draw against Stockport County last week. Kevin Burgess is added to the squad after completing his three match suspension.
Nuneaton are managed by former Darlington striker Tommy Wright, who played for us at Wembley in that famous trophy final in 2011.
They are currently 18th in the table, and in their last game were beaten 6-3 at Blyth Spartans. They have won three and drawn one of their six home league games.
They also include former Darlington player Exodus Geohaghon, who has recently joined the club for his third spell.
From our two meetings last season we were only able to pick up one point. A Mark Beck goal earned us a 1-1 draw at Nuneaton, but we lost 2-1 at home to a late winner despite David Syers equalising just minutes earlier.
Kick off on Saturday is 15:00, updates on the game will be made from the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 14:50 which is kindly sponsored by Tempest Jones.
Admission prices are £14 for adults , £12 for concessions, £3 for 16s and under.
