Darlington look to continue our impressive start against Chorley at Heritage Park on Wednesday night.

Since our last home game, the Quakers have been able to pick up two wins on the road at Curzon Ashton and Gloucester. Both were hard fought 2-1 victories and another win against Chorley would see the side move further up the table.

The win at Gloucester made it 10 points from the first 12 available for Darlington, as we once again have made a good start to life in a new division.

Like ourselves, Chorley remain unbeaten in their first four games, with two wins and two draws. They will move above us if they beat us on Wednesday night. Their latest game on Saturday was a 2-0 victory at home to Boston United.

Results so far:

August 6th home v FC United of Manchester drew 3-3 Gonzales, Teague, Jordan

August 13th away v Kidderminster Harriers drew 0-0

August 16th home v Bradford PA won 3-0 Gonzales, Whitham, Beesley

August 20th home v Boston won 2-0 Whitham, O’Keefe

Darlo team on Sunday against Gloucester:

Darlington:

Jameson, Marrs (sub Hunter 81), Galbraith, Turnbull, Burgess, Brown, Gillies, Portas, Beck, Hardy (sub Cartman 72), Thompson (sub Scott 63)

Subs not used: Bell, Mitchell

Darlington manager Martin Gray said; “I’ll be looking for the team to maintain the same level of performance in tonight’s game.”

They are managed by former Blackburn Rovers player Matt Jansen, who guided them to an eighth place finish last season.

The game on Wednesday is the first of four home games for Darlington out of the next five, including this Saturday when we host Alfreton Town.

Darlo and Chorley have met twice before, in the 1989-90 Conference season, when we beat them home and away by 3-0 on both occasions.

Kick off on Wednesday night is 7:45pm, updates on the game will be made from the club's Facebook, Twitter, Mobile App and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 7:35pm
