Quakers looking for hat trick of home wins

Kidderminster visit Blackwell Meadows on Saturday

We host Kidderminster Harriers this weekend looking to make it three wins in a row at Blackwell Meadows and bounce back from defeat at York on New Year’s Day.

Our heaviest defeat of the season saw us slip to 17th place in the league table, six points ahead of the bottom three. Harriers came from behind in their first match of 2019 to win at home to Hereford and move back into the final playoff place.

When we met earlier on this season, Harriers came out on top 5-2 afetr we played with ten men for a large portion of the game following Joe Wheatley’s dismissal.

Kidderminster’s previous visit to Blackwell Meadows saw us come out on top 2-1 with Stephen Thompson scoring the late winner.

After playoff disappointment the last two seasons Harriers started this season well and they went nine unbeaten, but have been inconsistent since.
