Quakers go to Southport tonight looking to extend their unbeaten start to three matches.

Quakers drew 1-1 at Chorley in a heatwave last Saturday, and beat Gloucester 3-1 on the opening day of the season.

Manager Alun Armstrong will probably decide on his team just before the game, as he assesses exactly how much the 30Celsius temperatures took out of his players on Saturday – some were clearly struggling, but Mark Beck wasn’t too much when he scored the equaliser.
