Quakers received some very good compliments from a member of the FA Trophy committee and a Spennymoor fan regarding the staging at Blackwell Meadows of Spennymoor's FA Trophy tie with Bromley last week.

I attended the above game last night at Blackwell Meadows and felt that I should contact you regarding the excellent hospitality I received from everybody I came into contact with on the night. From parking my car, being shown to the boardroom through to leaving at the end of the evening made it an enjoyable night and I felt that I should let you know of my experience. Hi John,

             Sadly Spennymoor’s run in FA Trophy came to an end last night. Can I take this opportunity to thank all staff at Blackwell Meadows for a very enjoyable evening experienced by myself and family. Bar staff were very helpful and polite, as were security and stewards. The car parking space reserved was great, helped my elderly dad as we didn’t have far at all to walk to entrance.
