Quakers play their penultimate pre-season friendly at Gateshead on Wednesday night as preparations for the new season continue to go well.
Manager Martin Gray will take his full first team squad with him as he looks for a good competitive outing against the National Division side, which is managed by former Darlington defender Neil Aspin, with another former Quaker, Lee Nogan, assisting him.
MG said; "I'm reasonably happy with the way pre season is going, but obviously there is still some work to be done until I'm satisfied that we are 100 per cent ready. We must make the most of our last two competitive friendlies and our training sessions next week to make sure that we are ready for a hectic start to the league season.
"The lads are building up their fitness and their understanding with each other, while they're steadily cutting out some of the sloppiness that we saw early in pre season.£
MG is also hoping to include some trialists in his squad, and there could also be a confirmed signing before the game.
The match at the International Stadium kicks off at 7.30.
Quakers' last public friendly is at Guiseley, another National Division club, on Saturday.
