Quakers sign Andy Evans from Morecambe

Defender arrives on a month's loan
Darlington have today signed defender Andy Evans on work experience loan from Football League club Morecambe.
Andy, who is from Tyneside, spent five years at Sunderland before he joined Morecambe in the summer of 2022.
After two years as a scholar at Morecambe, he signed up for a third year and is the skipper of their under 18s team. He has played four times for them in the Youth Alliance North this season, and scored against Hartlepool United.
Andy goes into our squad for Saturday’s home game with Southport.
We would like to thank Morecambe – where former Darlington winger Neil Wainwright is on the staff – for their help in the loan, which lasts until 20th October.
