Quakers sign Jack Mortimer from the Under 23s

Prolific striker signs first team forms
Darlington have today signed Jack Mortimer from our under 23 team.
Jack, who is 23, has scored nine goals in six matches for the Under 23s this season, and last season was one of the top scorers in the Wearside League, scoring 49 goals in 34 matches for Newton Aycliffe FC Seniors.
Before then, he played for Washington United, Chester-le-Street United and Shildon Reserves.
