Striker joins the squad for Saturday's game
Darlington have today signed Jacob Blyth on loan from Bradford PA for the rest of the season.
Jacob, 30, has got plenty of experience at higher levels in his career, having been at Leicester City, Burton Albion, Notts County, Northampton and Macclesfield in the Football League and Motherwell in the Scottish Premier, as well as Barrow, Altrincham and Chorley in the National League. Indeed, he scored the winning goal for Chorley in their 2-1 win over us at Victory Park in September 2021.

He moved to Bradford PA in the summer, and now they have agreed a loan deal with us for the rest of the season.
The loan was sanctioned by the league and the FA just seconds before Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
Darlington manager Alun Armstrong said; “Jacob will give us an extra option up front, we’ve been looking for a big striker to help us mix the game up.
“He’s got plenty of experience at different levels of the game and hopefully that will help us over the rest of the season. He was very keen to join us.”
Jacob goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s away game at Kettering.
We would like to wish Jacob all the best during his stay with us.
