Quakers take up option on Jamie Holmes' contract

Striker to stay at the club another year

The club has decided to take up the option on Jamie Holmes' contract.

Jamie, whom we signed from Blyth Spartans two years ago, is well on the way to recovery with Danny O'Connor's expertise after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in a friendly last season.

Manager Alun said; "Hopefully, he'll be back in September. We know what he's capable of, and we need to give him the opportunity to show us."

We would like to wish Jamie all the best in his continued recovery, and hope to see him soon.
