Quakers want victory in first ever visit to Leamington
We head to Leamington for the first time ever on Saturday for our crucial clash near the bottom end of the table (writes Simon Hahn).
Our 2-2 draw with Chorley last week and results on Tuesday night meant we remain outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
However, both Telford and Gainsborough Trinity who sit below us, have at least two games in hand.
On Saturday we twice led through Reece Styce and Stephen Thompson, but were unable to hold on for the win.
Our hosts picked up a huge victory on Tuesday night, 3-0 at home to Gainsborough. The win moved the Brakes up to 16th in the league four points above the relegation zone.
Our meeting earlier in the season ended with a frustrating 0-0 draw at Blackwell Meadows.
Defender Dom Collins and midfielder Tom Portas will both be missing because of injury, while centre half Gary Brown and striker Greg Mills are both 50/50 with knocks.
Leamington were promoted into the National North last season through the playoffs after spending two seasons outside of the second level of non-league football.
Kick off on Saturday is at 15:00, updates on the game will be made from the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 14:50 which is kindly sponsored by Tempest Jones.
