Quakers win second pre season friendly

4-2 victory at Crook -- Becky plays second half

Quakers won their second pre-season friendly by 4-2 at Northern League Crook on Saturday.

Once again, manager Alun Armstrong brought along a strong squad, and they were impressively 2-0 up by the 35th minute with summer signing Jacob Hazel twice on target.

Alun made a few subs at half time, and after Crook pulled a goal back, Marcus Maddison scored from the spot. Crook converted their own penalty, before Junior Mondal finished off the scoring.

The second half, in front of a crowd of around 500, saw the introduction of Mark Beck following his return to the club the day before.
