Quakers withdraw from the Durham Challenge Cup

Conceded tie to opponents
Darlington FC have today withdrawn from the Durham Challenge Cup with the permission of Durham FA.
We had been drawn at home to Northern League club Stockton Town in a game which was due to be played by 19th December, but we have withdrawn because of our busy fixture schedule -- we are playing two games a week until the middle of December.
Stockton Town will now move into the next round. We have been told by Durham FA that we will not be penalised for withdrawing from the competition.
