The Darlo Youth Under 8s have had a great time since the team was formed, and all of them are very promising footballers with plenty of potential. There might even be a future Darlo first team player in there!
To give the lads some more experience of playing together against other clubs, their coaches want to enter them into summer tournaments.
They need to raise some funds to send the lads away, so they’re holding a race night at Acklam Rugby Club on Friday April 1st, beginning at 7pm.
There will be 8 races with 8 horses running in each race.
The horses in each race are on sale at £2 each and the club is looking for 8 race sponsors which are £10 each.
Each race sponsor and winning horse owner will win a prize on the night.
The club also wants prizes to go in the raffle, so any donations will be greatfully received.
