The reserves were made to regret some bad decision making when they were beaten 4-2 at home by Wolviston on Saturday.
The lads never really recovered from going two goals down early in the game, and faced an uphill task throughout the game.
Joint manager Mark Fanning said; “We were always chasing the game after we went 2-0 behind.
We got back to 3-2, but then we went 4-2 down to a goal that looked well offside.
“We had loads of chances in the second half, and their keeper made a couple of good saves, but generally we made some bad decisions when we had the ball, and we should have made more of our possession.
“We were outmuscled a little bit, and again it was only small consolation to hear our opponents say that we’re a good young side.
“We’re in a little rut at the moment, and we need something to lift our confidence, like a scruffy win.”
After going two goals behind, Quakers got a goal back through a Joey Beauchamp penalty after he was brought down, but they went 3-1 down just before half time, although there was a suspicion of handball in the build up.
Tom Young fired a good goal to put Quakers back into the game, but Wolviston scored a fourth and put the game beyond reach.
The lads are in ninth place, but still in the top half of the table.
