Statement from David Johnston, chief operating officer of Darlington FC
The result at Brackley was disappointing for the club as we continue to push for a playoff place. I will be meeting with Alun and his staff to discuss the performance and get their perspectives on incidents in the match. I will update supporters following the discussion.
We are very aware that emotions are running high for supporters, staff and the players and we need to pull together as one to get over the line and into the playoffs. Let's not distract our team from the task at hand and ensure we focus on the remaining three matches.
