Darlington Football Club would like to announce that Stephen Thompson has signed a new two year deal with the club.

“Thommo” has just enjoyed his third promotion with the club, having joined us just after the start of the 2013-13 season from Durham City.

“Thommo is an integral part of our squad, and he has just completed a great season. We are delighted that he’s staying,” said Darlington manager Martin Gray.

“Thommo” scored 10 goals in 41 starts for Quakers this season, and it was his goal that started the 7-1 rout of Whitby on that never-to-be-forgotten night.
