Thanks to Quaker TV and all our volunteers!

Saturday a great success

Stuart Armstrong and Andrew Simpson from Quaker TV

The club would like to thank the lads from Quaker TV and all our other matchday volunteers for making Saturday's opening game of the season a big success.

Quaker TV was very popular on its first day of operation, and sold over 800 passes for the match against Prescot Cables.

There has been plenty of praise for the seven lads who worked very hard in the space of a week to put the operation to broadcast together -- Stuart Armstrong, Michael Price, Kevin Luff, Andrew Simpson, Michael Cansfield, Nicholas Smith and Jordi Burton -- and it was thanks to their expertise that Darlington fans could watch a nail biting penalty shootout.

There were also another 600 listeners around the world on Darlo Fans Radio! DFR will be at the away game against Fylde on Tuesday night.

The next Quaker TV broadcast will be the home game against Kidderminster this Saturday -- unlike the FA Cup,  league rules allow us to stream this game outside of the UK as well! Watch out for details later of how to buy a match pass later in the week.

We would also like to thank our matchday volunteers, who did a great job in very wet conditions! Hopefully we'll have better weather for our next home game.

We'd also like to thank our fans, who adhered to our advice concerning the Covid regulations and stayed away from Blackwell Meadows. It is important that you continue to do so on a matchday until the restrictions are relaxed.
