The club’s Community Engagement team visited Mowden Junior School earlier in the week, and chatted to the pupils about Darlington Football Club.
Geoff Gale and Tony Waters talked about the recent history and future of the club, the manager and players, as well as football in general. They also handed out vouchers to the children, who were encouraged to come along and watch a Darlington game – especially as Under 11s go free!
The club is planning visits to more schools with some of the Darlington players and Mr Q also popping along. Keep an eye on our official website!
If you want to chat to our Community Engagement team, then drop Tony Waters a line on tony.waters@dfcsg.co.uk
Our thanks to Mowden Junior School for inviting us to visit.
