We would like to welcome everybody to Saturday's home game in the Vanarama National League North against Curzon Ashton, kick off 3pm at Blackwell Meadows.

There are a couple of changes to the matchday experience in the last home game.

Disabled parking

The Pre-Paid 25 Blue Badge Holders will now park in the left hand bay of the lower car park as you come down the track from Grange Road. This parking area is much closer to the ground.

All vehicles in the lower car park are required to strictly follow the one way system to exit Blackwell Meadows at the end of games.

DFC Officials and players will now park in a designated area in the new car park.

Turnstiles and admission prices

As Curzon Ashton are only bringing a small number of fans, then only four turnstiles will be open at the left hand side of the clubhouse (the “home” end). The away turnstiles to the right hand side of the clubhouse will not be open.

Admission prices are £12 adults, £8 concessions and £4 children under 16.

Parking and travel

There is limited pay parking available on the day at £5 per car, all paid parking will be on a strictly first come first served basis.

Anyone who has a pre-paid parking season ticket or intends to drive to the ground for paid parking needs to be there by 2-30pm at the very latest or they will not have access to the car park for safety reasons . This rule will be strictly enforced. Note: the road from the club house to Grange Road including the car park will be closed from 2-30pm to 5-15pm for all traffic except emergency services.

The DFCSG have produced a guide to travel for Blackwell Meadows and can be accessed here http://www.darlingtonfcsupportersgroup.org/?page=fanstravel

Refreshments

Refreshments of hot and cold drinks and food will be available in the ground. Programmes and 50/50 tickets

A 56 page match day programme is available for £2.50. Programme sellers will be in the ground along with the 50-50 draw tickets which had a record prize of £600 at an earlier game. The revenue for the both our very popular programme and 50-50 draw tickets go directly to the club and your support in purchasing these is appreciated. Please bring change with you on the day to assist the volunteers.

Toilet facilities

Toilet facilities are available in the ground adjacent to the turnstiles .

Help / first aid / instructions

The stewards and staff of the club are there to help you. If for any reason first aid is required, the first aid point is at the club house or contact the nearest steward. They are in radio contact and will get help as required.

If you are instructed by a steward or official for any reason to do something or cease doing something we would ask for your cooperation.

Exiting the ground

Please be patient when leaving the ground and exiting down Grange Road. On Grange Road please remain on the footpath for your own personal safety. No cars will leave the car park areas until the surrounding area has cleared in the interests of pedestrian safety.

Finally

We would kindly ask you to respect all the volunteers and your fellow supporters on the day and be patient and tolerant as we adjust to our new home in Darlington. If possible, allow younger supporters to stand near the front to give them a better view.

Please also check the articles about the responsibility of home supporters elsewhere on the official website and in the official programme.

Enjoy the game and most importantly let’s make this a memorable match for all the right reasons.
