Here's this week's youth team round up

Darlington U8s hosted on Sunday and the Darlington boys were excellent on all fronts. Having been asked to implement a completely new formation and play style it was a difficult first 5 minutes which saw the opposition edge the early exchanges.
Despite a difficult start the boys showed their resilience and willingness to try new things and before long they began to click. The passing on display from our group of 7-year-old boys was excellent with the ball touching the feet of all 5 players before ending up in the goal courtesy of a rocket finish from Jack or a sublime finesse from Shayd. New boy Max covered enough ground for 3 and substitutions brought a quick fire hattrick for Harry. Player of the match Shayd was superb, beating his man with ease but then producing an incisive pass for a teammate to take the glory of a goal. The assists were requested by his coach but Shayd still managed a hattrick of his own to punctuate a fantastic personal performance.
