Tom Portas will continue his comeback from injury for the reserves at Guisborough on Saturday.

Tom played for an hour in his first comeback game against Seaham Red Star on Tuesday night, and he might do the same again on Saturday against the Northern League club.

Joint reserve team manager Mark Fanning said; "Tom did well the other night, he slowly got into the game and became more confident. He'll be starting the game on Saturday, and hopefully continue in the same vein."

There could be one or two other first team players involved, while Lee Hume is also added.

The game at the King George kicks off at 3pm.

The reserves have one more friendly to play, at Shildon Railway on Tuesday night, and their Wearside League season starts at Prudhoe next Saturday.
