Striker joins on loan from Scunthorpe
Darlington FC are pleased to announce that striker Tyrone O’Neill has joined on loan from Scunthorpe United until the end of the season.
This will be the fourth time that Tyrone has joined us in the last three seasons, and in his previous three spells he scored nine goals in 27 appearances.
Darlington manager Alun Armstrong said; “We jumped at the chance to sign Tyrone when we heard that he was available for loan because we know what he’s capable of.
“I believe that over the rest of the season we can bring out the best in him.”
Here's a sample of what Tyrone has done before:
Tyrone was on loan with us last season, and when his loan finished, he was released by Middlesbrough in the summer. He trained with us in pre season, before going to Scunthorpe.
He will be available for selection for Saturday’s home game with Spennymoor
Everyone at Darlington FC would like to welcome Tyrone back to the club, and hope he scores plenty of goals.
We would like to thank Scunthorpe for their help in making the move go through.
