Darlington FC Youth U12s 6 v Norton and Stockton U12s 2

Darlington were limited to only 9 available players today but kept up their unbeaten start to the season with another good win.

After a shaky start Darlo went in front when Josh Gibson raced clear and coolly finished past the keeper.

Norton equalised on 15 mins with a good finish past Darlo stand in keeper Moncur who has done well for his three week spell in goal.

Darlo regained the lead just before half time through the hard working Louis Davidson who beat the keeper with a low shot.

The second half was a much better performance from the Darlo boys who worked harder than their opponents and started to control the game and attacked well with good passing and positive play.

Josh Gibson scored another two left foot strikes to make it 4-1 and complete a fine hat trick. Davidson got his second then with five minutes to go Campbell and Gibson did great and a cross for Harry Dixon to score the 6th.

Darlo conceded with two minutes to go from a corner to make the final score 6-2 to Darlington FC Youth U12

Oli Clark, Chrissy Walters, Callum Campbell were excellent at the back along with Benjy Savage and Jojo Crumpton running the midfield in the second half!!

MOM was Joshua Gibson with a great hat trick.
