Within the first few minutes Hatton had sent Blackham through only for the referee to call the goal offside. The next 20 minutes was all one way. some brilliant link-up play between the defence and midfield creating great triangles passing movement. Hatton got through again from a build-up play from Skull and Ord, but the defender cleared his defence. Another through ball by Skull for Blackham on goal but a great save to deny him by the keeper. At the other end, Warburton was called into action but made a fantastic one on one save to deny the striker.

Warburton played the long ball out for and again Blackham narrowly shot wide. Finally the dead-lock was broken by a 3rd attempt scrappy goal by Ruddick, 1-0.

A shot from the off from HFC showed they meant business but another impressive save from Brad, who has only played 4 games for the lads and is commanding his team more and more. Feethams broke free and Skull scored an absolute 'worldy' of a goal to make it 2-0.

HFC pulled one back with the defence asleep a little, then with the attacker shooting the ball off McCowies hand were awarded a penalty, 2-2.

A great counter attack by Simmi, but the shot slighty over, Feethams pushed for the win, Blackham, Hatton, Carvey and Kirk all having shots either saved or cleared.

The inevitable happened, from a corner, HFC scored and ended the match 2-3.
