League leaders Darlington suffered a surprise defeat at Ryton.
Darlington went 2-0 down in the first 20 minutes, the first coming from a deep ball over the top which caught the back four high, their forward finished on the half volley to give them the lead.
The next goal came five minutes after the first as a deep conrer was headed back across the goal into the net.
We scored our first instantly when a loose corner landed to James Marley, who volleyed home.
Jordan Lee constantly caused the opposition problems and it paid off when he cut inside and bent the ball into the bottom corner.
The hosts’ constant pressure paid off when they played a one-two around the box and neatly finished to make it 3-2.
Darlington had a penalty claim which was denied. In the last 15 minutes Darlington piled on the pressure, but their opponents shut up shop and ground out the result.
Man of the match was Jordan Lee.
