Darlington kept up their great start to the season by showing good character to score late in the game, to make them get to the Christmas break by only being beaten once this season in a very tough league.

Darlington were on the front foot from the start and were on top with some good play but Redcar broke through and scored but this could have been stopped if unfortunately, the Darlo goalkeeper at the time was suffering from illness and had to be treated.

Darlington regained control and deservedly equalised when Dixon cross shot was side footed in by Josh Gibson who had a very good game for Darlo.

The second half was mainly Darlo pressing and creating lots of pressure and chances but once again Redcar scored when they counter attacked at pace and caught Darlo cold. In a repeat of the first half Darlo took control again and piled on the pressure for the last ten minutes and deservedly equalised when the outstanding Jojo Crumpton was fouled and another good performer Chrissy Walters hit the free kick towards the goal and the dangerous Jamie Diamond spun and flicked the ball past the keeper to make it 2-2 in what was another good performance from these lads!!

Coach Warren awarded Darlington goalkeeper Callum Moncur MOTM, for the way he passed and delivered the ball with his feet and a crucial save at 2-1 especially after recovering from his illness when Redcar scored their first goal!!

Well done to everyone.
