Tommy Wright's first home game in charge as manager didn't go to plan as Quakers were soundly beaten 3-0 at home by Brackley.

Quakers didn't really get going until the second half, but by then they were 2-0 down, but at that stage the ywere still furious about a decision regarding a foul on Stephen Thompson in the lead up to the second goal.

Quakers posed the first danger with a build up on the right, but Phil Turnbull’s cross was too deep to the far post.

Adam Bartlett had to come out of his box on 9 minutes to intercept a through ball that was intended for Aaron Williams,

and when Brackley had their first corner on 10 minutes, Bartlett fisted the ball away.

Brackley took the lead on 18 minutes. Quakers lost possession midway inside their own half, and and Adam Walker got away up the left and crossed for Andy Brown to head in at the far post.

They had a chance of a second from a free kick on 24 minutes for a foul by Collins. Aaron Williams fired through the wall, and even though the ball took a deflection, Bartlett held on well.

Brackley had another chance when Shane Byrne and Myles combined to set up Jack Byrne, and his right foot shot was deflected wide,

then Glenn Walker set up Brown, who sidefooted wide.

Quakers had their first real attempt on 36 minutes when Tom Portas drove forward from midfield, and his right foot shot ended up in the keeper’s hands.

Quakers went 2-0 down on 42 minutes. Thompson appeared to be fouled in midfield and lost possession , but the ref waved play on, allowing Shane Byrne to run through,he  draw Bartlett and set up Aaron Williams to tap in.

Half time 0-2

It was nearly 3-0 on 48 minutes, Quakers lost possession outside the box, and Brackley quickly won switched the ball to their right, where Williams hit the bar from the corner of the box.

But Quakers had more urgency about them, and from a Galbraith free kick, Tom Portas and James Caton both had shots blocked.

It was 3-0 on 80minutes when Glenn Walker crossed from the left for Ellis Myles to drive home in off the post.

Saunders nearly got one back when he latched on to a poor back pass , but lobbed wide
