League leaders AFC Fylde were humbled by second placed Salford City at Moor Lane, as the Ammies came away with a 5-0 victory. Jordan Hulme scored a hat-trick including two goals in stoppage time, Billy Priestley and Mike Phenix also were on the scoresheet. The victory saw Salford move above Kidderminster Harriers who were not in action.
Stockport County’s good run continued at the weekend, as they picked up a 3-1 win at home to Stalybridge Celtic. Danny Lloyd gave County the lead after just eight minutes before Kieran Dunbar surprisingly levelled for Celtic at the start of the second half. However, Lloyd bagged his second along with a goal from Jimmy Ball to seal the win.
Halifax Town jumped above ourselves into sixth with a 1-0 victory at bottom of the table Altrincham. Liam King scored the only goal of the game for Halifax in the final ten minutes.
Tamworth were held to a 1-1 draw at Worcester City to damage their play-off chances. Lee Hughes gave Worcester the lead after 37 minutes with Dan Newton levelling from the penalty spot six minutes later.
Harrogate Town won 3-0 at Boston United to keep up their hopes of being in the end of season mix. Simon Ainge opened the scoring in the first half, with further goals from Louie Swain and Joe Leesley sealing the win.
Gloucester City are tenth after a 2-0 win at Telford United. Zack Kotwica opened the scoring after 19 minutes with Luke Hopper sealing the win in injury-time.
Bradford PA picked up an important three points at Curzon Ashton. James Knowles put Bradford ahead before Matty Warburton levelled for the hosts. However, Danny Boshell scored with 20 minutes to go as Bradford won the game 2-1.
In the final game of the weekend, Alfreton won 2-0 away at Gainsborough Trinity. Craig Westcarr scored the goals either side of half-time for Alfreton.
