On a day when only one of the top ten picked up a victory, leaders AFC Fylde were held to a 3-3 draw at Harrogate Town. Simon Ainge gave Town an early lead, before Danny Rowe and Dan Bradley turned the game in the leaders favour. Ainge scored twice more to grab his hat-trick and put Harrogate 3-2 up, but Matty Hughes equalised three minutes from time to earn Fylde a point.
Second placed Salford City fell to defeat at Tamworth. Connor Taylor and Dan Newton both scored just before half-time, as Tamworth won the game 2-0.
Kidderminster Harriers stayed behind the Ammies on goal difference after they also lost on Saturday. Harriers fell to a 1-0 defeat at FC United of Manchester with George Thomson scoring the only goal of the game in the 24th minute.
Chorley are also level on points with Salford after they were held to a 0-0 draw at play-off chasing Stockport County in front of over 4,000 fans.
FC Halifax remain fifth despite also being held to a 0-0 draw at home to Boston United.
Another play-off chasing side were held to a goalless draw, as Brackley Town were held at mid-table Curzon Ashton.
Gloucester City are level on points with Brackley after a 1-0 win over Bradford PA. Zack Kotwica scored the only goal of the game early in the second half.
Nuneaton Town moved further away from trouble after pushing Gainsborough Trinity closer to the bottom three with a 2-1 victory. Ashley Worsfold put Trinity ahead in the first half, before Joe Ironside and Jordan Nicholson turned the game in Nuneaton’s favour.
Bottom of the table Altrincham were pushed closer to trap door, as they lost 1-0 at Telford United thanks to a Dave Hibbert goal in the final few minutes of the game.
