Darlington were held to a 1-1 draw at Nuneaton Town on Saturday, despite having taken the lead through Mark Beck in the first half. The result saw the Quakers slip to fifth place in the league table.

AFC Fylde are clear at the top of the table after a 3-2 win at FC United of Manchester. FC United took the lead through Harry Winter, but within ten minutes were behind thanks to goals from Danny Rowe and Bohan Dixon. Despite having Sam Finley sent off just before half-time, Fylde were able to increase their lead thanks to Rowe’s second of the game. George Thomson pulled one back for FC United, but Fylde’s ten men were able to hold on for the win.

They are three points clear at the top after their nearest two rivals, both suffered defeats away from home.

Salford City suffered their first defeat of the season, as they lost 1-0 at Kidderminster Harriers. James McQuilkin scored the only goal of the game in the 9th minute for Harriers who jumped up into fourth place with the win, just one point behind the Ammies.

Harrogate Town also lost their unbeaten record, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Alfreton Town thanks to a first half strike from Dan Bradley.

Tamworth are just outside the play-off places after a 5-1 win away to Curzon Ashton who have only picked up one point so far at home. Stephen Tomassen and Dan Newton both scored twice for Tamworth along with a goal from Greg Mills, Jonathan Hunt scored Curzon’s consolation.

Brackley and Chorley held each other to a 1-1 draw that leaves both sides only one point off the top five. Jack Cottrell gave Chorley the lead, but James Armson earned a point for the visitors just before half-time.

Halifax Town are up to ninth after a 1-0 win over Stalybridge Celtic at The Shay. Liam King scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after 36 minutes.

Gloucester City are in the top ten after hammering struggling Altrincham 5-0. Luke Hopper scored a ten minute hat-trick in the second half to add to their earlier goals from Chris Knowles and Joe Parker.

Stockport County were held at home by Boston United to a 1-1 draw. Greg Smith gave the visitors an early lead, before Danny Lloyd earned County a point just after half-time.

A double from Ashley Worsfold helped Gainsborough Trinity to their second win of the season at home to Telford United. Jordan Thewlis opened the scoring for Trinity from the penalty spot, before Josh Wilson levelled for Telford. However, Worsfold’s double clinched a 3-1 win for Gainsborough.

The Quakers neat opponents, Bradford PA, remain at the bottom of the table after their latest defeat at home to Worcester City. Lee Hughes, Cieron Keane and Chekaine Steele scoring the goals as Worcester won 3-0.
