Despite being held to a 3-3 draw at Kidderminster Harriers, AFC Fylde extended their lead at the top of the table, as none of their promotion rivals were able to win. Arthur Gnahoua gave Harriers the lead, before the leagues top scorer Danny Rowe levelled just before half time. Elton Ngwatala regained the lead for the hosts, but a quick fire double from James Hardy looked set to keep up Fylde’s 100% record on the road. However, Keith Lowe earned a late point for Kidderminster who drop to fifth.
Chorley moved up to fourth after beating second placed Harrogate Town 1-0. Adam Blakeman scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot inside the final fifteen minutes.
Halifax Town moved up to sixth in the table after beating Gloucester City 2-0 at Whaddon Road, thanks to goals from Alex Simmons and Liam King.
Salford City slipped to a third straight away defeat 2-1 at neighbours Stockport County. Richie Wellens had given the Ammies an early lead, but goals from Gary Stopforth and Max Cartwright won the game for County who now sit inside the top ten.
Gainsborough Trinity came from 2-0 down to win at home to Tamworth. Danny Newton and Louis Briscoe had given Tamworth the lead, but goals from Jordan Thewlis, Nathan Jarman and Matt Templeton turned the game around for Gainsborough, as they ran out 3-2 winners.
If you want to see goals this season though its Alfreton Town you need to watch, in their thirteen games so far there have been an incredible 71 goals. On Saturday there were just seven in their trip to FC United of Manchester. FC United were 3-0 up thanks to Kieran Glynn, Matt Wolfendn and George Thomson. However, a double from Adam Smith and a goal from Brad McGowan brought Alfreton level. Despite this it would be FC United who would win the game 4-3, as Luke Ashworth scored the decisive goal eight minutes from time.
Boston United are twelfth after a 0-0 draw at home Worcester City.
Despite not having won at home, Curzon Ashton picked up their third win on the road at Nuneaton Town. Niall Cummins scored the only goal of the game in the 23rd minute for Curzon.
Bradford Park Avenue picked up only their fourth point of the season at home to AFC Telford United in a 1-1 draw. Chris Sharp gave Bradford the lead, but it only lasted a minute as Ben Bailey levelled for Telford.
Altrincham picked up their first win of the season at the thirteenth attempt as they won at fellow struggles Stalybridge Celtic. Two goals in the final five minutes from Sam Patterson and Greg Wilkinson won the game for Altrincham 2-0.
