Darlington moved up to second in the league table with a 5-2 win over Gainsborough Trinity. An entertaining game saw the Quakers win thanks to two penalties from Terry Galbraith, along with goals from Gary Brown, Nathan Cartman and David Syers.

AFC Fylde remain four points clear at the top of the table after a 2-1 win at home to Nuneaton. Josh Langley put the hosts ahead, only for Elliott Whitehouse to level before half-time for Nuneaton. However, who else, but Danny Rowe scored the winner fifteen minutes from time to give Fylde all the points.

Chorley won 3-0 at Bradford PA to go third in the table. An own goal gave them the lead, with Dale Whitham scoring twice in the second half to seal the win.

Salford City are seventh after being held to a 3-3 draw at home by Boston United. A Richie Allen own goal put Boston in the lead, but Michael Nottingham levelled just four minutes later. The Pilgrims took the lead again before half-time thanks to Jay Rollins, but goals from James Poole and John Johnston saw the Ammies go ahead for the first time. Boston earned a share of the points though, ten minutes from time, thanks to Gregg Smith.

Darlington’s next opponents Worcester City, won 4-0 at home to Stalybridge Celtic.  Ebby Nelson-Abby, Lee Hughes, Colby Bishop and Cieron Keane scored the goals for Worcester.

AFC Telford United beat FC United of Manchester 1-0 to go 14th in the league table. Connor McCarthy scored the only goal of the game for Telford after 62 minutes.

Away from the league eight of the divisions sides were in the FA Cup final qualifying round.

Harrogate Town and Halifax went head-to-head in the only all National North clash, with Halifax coming out on top 2-0. They travel to National League side Dagenham and Redbridge in he first round.

Stockport County overcame our landlords Bishop Auckland 2-0 and will face either Torquay or Woking next.

Brackley Town won 5-0 at Beaconsfield and travel to League One Gillingham in the first round.

Kidderminster Harriers  thumped Weymouth 6-0 and go to Blackpool in the next round.

Despite struggling in the league Altrincham are through to the first round after a 3-1 win at home to Matlock. They travel to one of two non-league sides next, either Lincoln City or Guiseley.

Alfreton held Gateshead to a 2-2 draw and if they can get through their replay they will be rewarded by hosting League Two Newport County.

Curzon Ashton earned a replay at York City on Saturday with a 1-1 draw and won the replay 2-1 last night. They now have a fantastic chance of going even further, as they travel to the lowest ranked team remaining in the competition Westfields.
