Darlington continued their good start to the season with a 2-1 win at Gloucester on Sunday afternoon...
Halifax Town are still top of the table after a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Tamworth. The game was virtually over at half-time when the Shaymen led 3-0 thanks to goals from Danny Hone, Richard Peniket and Jordan Sinnott. Peniket netted again to make it 4-0 just shy of the hour mark to seal the victory.
Harrogate Town joined them on 11 points after beating Bradford Park Avenue 3-2. Luke Shiels and Jon-Paul Pittman put Harrogate 2-0 ahead, but Luke Dean scored twice to level for Bradford. However, Warren Burrell won the game for Harrogate in the 88th minute.
AFC Fylde won 5-3 at Alfreton Town and are third in the league table. Danny Rowe scored four times for Fylde with James Hardy scoring the other goal for the visitors near the end. Ryan Wilson, Craig Westcarr and Dan Bradley had at one point put Alfreton ahead.
Kidderminster Harriers beat Stalybridge Celtic 2-1 to stay fourth. Mani Dieseruvwe and Tyrone Williams, put Harriers in control and they were able to hold on despite Nick Ryan pulling one back for Stalybridge.
Salford City also kept up their good start to the season with a 1-0 win at Nuneaton Town thanks to Mike Phenix.
Chorley are seventh after a 2-0 win over Boston United. Dale Whitham and Josh O’Keefe scored the goals in the first half for Chorley.
Brackley Town won 4-2 away to Stockport County. Lee Ndlovu scored twice for Brackley along with goals from Gareth Dean and Alex Gudger, with Danny Lloyd and Adam Thomas scoring for County.
Gainsborough Trinity won their first game of the season with a 2-0 victory at home to Altrincham. Ashley Worsfold and Gavin Rothery scored the goals for Gainsborough to lift them up to 16th in the league.
FC United of Manchester were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Worcester City. Dale Johnson gave FC United a first half lead, but they were made to settle for a point after Colby Bishop levelled for Worcester.
Curzon Ashton and AFC Telford United also held each other to a 1-1 draw. Niall Cummins gave Curzon the lead before Hakan Burton earned a point for the visitors.
