After our game with Bradford Park Avenue was called off in mid-week we slipped out of the play-off places due to other results on Tuesday night.

AFC Fylde’s lead at the top of the table was cut to nine points after they were held at home to play-off chasing Stockport County. The game finished 0-0, a result which leaves County one point outside of the top five.

Kidderminster closed the gap on Fylde after a dramatic 4-3 win away at Tamworth, whose slim play-off hopes suffered what could be a fatal blow. Tamworth moved into an early 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Dan Newton and Reece Styche, before Joe Ironside gave Harriers hope just before the interval.

Tyrone Williams levelled just after the hour mark before Ironside grabbed his second to put the visitors in front. Ellis Deeney appeared to have snatched a point for Tamworth in the 87^th minute, but Keith Lowe powered home the winner for Kidderminster in the second minute of stoppage time.

Salford City dramatically earned a point at home to fellow play-off chasing Chorley. The two sides sit third and fourth in the division and the result could be a turning point for both sides in the race for a top five spot. Jack Sampson gave Chorley the lead, but Michael Nottingham equalised for the Ammies in the 94^th minute.

Halifax Town move back into the play-off places after coming behind to win at home to Gainsborough Trinity. Jordan Thewlis gave Trinity the lead in the first half, but an own goal and a late strike from Adam Morgan gave Halifax the points.

Worcester City remain just above the relegation zone on goal difference after a 2-1 defeat at home to Brackley Town. Lee Ndlovu gave the visitors the perfect start after just two minutes, with Tyler Weir levelling for Worcester from the penalty spot less than twenty minutes later. However, Matt Barnes-Homer won the game for Brackley in the second half to move them within six points of the play-off places.

Altrincham were pushed closer to the trap door after they lost at home to Nuneaton Town on Tuesday. Ashley Chambers and Billy Daniels put Nuneaton in control before Simon Richman gave Altrincham a lifeline. However Chambers netted his second in the 63^rd minute to seal a 3-1 win for Nuneaton.

Alfreton moved ahead of Boston United after a 1-0 win over them on Tuesday night. Liam Heard scored the only goal of the game for Alfreton in the 41^st minute.
