AFC Fylde are top of the league after winning a huge game at home to Halifax Town. Tom Denton opened the scoring for Halifax, but Caspar Hughes levelled just two minutes later. Danny Hone then scored at both ends first into his own net, before levelling for the second time for Halifax. However, Bohan Dixon won the game for Flyde in the 79th minute to send them top.
Harrogate Town are only behind AFC Fylde on goal difference after victory over Nuneaton Town. Jon Paul Pittman and Joe Leesley put Harrogate in control before Joe Ironside pulled one back for Nuneaton. However, Jordan Robertson would seal a 3-1 victory for Harrogate from the penalty spot in the second half.
Salford City beat Gainsborough Trinity 3-2 and are also level on points with the top two. Ashley Worsfold gave Gainsborough a shock lead before Simon Grand, Mike Phenix and Billy Priestley put the Ammies in control. Adam Quinn pulled one back for Gainsborough late on, but it was not enough to earn any points for the visitors.
Kidderminster Harriers are just outside the playoffs after drawing 1-1 at Boston United. Kidderminster took the lead after an own goal in the sixth minute, but the points were shared thanks to a late goal from Joe Maguire.
Chorley won 1-0 away to win less Worcester City, thanks to Marcus Carver’s second half strike.
Brackley Town continued their good start to the season with a 1-0 win at home to FC United of Manchester, thanks to Gareth Dean’s strike 15 minutes from full-time.
Gloucester City are ninth after a 3-1 victory at Stalybridge Celtic. Goals from Calvin Dinsley, Luke Hopper and Zac Kotwica won the game for Gloucester with Steven Tames scoring for the hosts.
Tamworth are into the top ten after comfortably beating Bradford Park Avenue 5-1. Connor Taylor, Jack Lane, Jed Davies, Louis Briscoe and Ross Dyer all were on the score sheet for Tamworth, Michael Monaghan had at one point equalised for Bradford.
AFC Telford and Stockport County both remain in mid-table after holding each other to a 0-0 draw.
Altrincham took the lead at home to Curzon Ashton thanks to Emile Sinclair, but it all went wrong from there for the hosts. Paul Ennis scored twice, along with goals from Ryan Brooke and Chris Rowney. Damien Reeves scored for Altrincham near the end of the game, but they fell to a 4-2 defeat.
There is a full set of fixtures on Bank Holiday Monday including league leaders AFC Fylde travelling to Bradford PA. Elsewhere Halifax Town host Harrogate Town.
