During our Junior Quaker Club competition, the judges were really impressed with the standard of the entries from the pupils, that  the community engagement team decided to create a best from each of the schools who had entered.

Bethany Simpson aged 11, who attends Stephenson Way Primary School Newton Aycliffe was awarded a special prize for her design to appear on the Junior Quaker Club official T-shirt  that she is proudly wearing and a £10 Mysportswear gift voucher.  Her striking use of colours and design wowed all the judges.  As a keen enthusiastic and talented gymnast, she was unable to attend an official presentation, so the CET visited her at home to award her prize. Well done Bethany a fantastic achievement.
