Women's team return to action

Sixth league game of the season

Darlington FC Women will be back in league action this Sunday as they play their first game of 2023 after the Christmas break against Gateshead Leam Rangers.

This will be the third time the two sides meet already this season. Darlington coming out on top in both previous games, winning 5-1 in the County Cup and 4-1 in the league with both games played at Eastbourne.

Leam currently sit in 9th place having picked up 4 points from 7 games. The Quaker Women will be looking to get some momentum going in their 6th league game of the season and build on their 10 points accumulated so far, ahead of their County Cup quarter final with Consett Ladies next Sunday.

This will be Darlington’s first game of 2023 and any travelling support would be greatly appreciated as always.
