Quakers have picked up five points from their last three away games – and have lost only two out of seven on their travels this season – but Atky was disappointed that Quakers didn’t win.

“I thought we dominated a lot of the possession, and we missed a couple of very good opportunities in the first half,” he said. “But they scored a flukey goal before half time although I thought they really didn’t threaten us before then.

“I thought the second half was more scrappy than the first, but we still had chances to get back into the game.

“In the end, I was glad to get a point because it keeps our momentum going, and travelling such a distance to an away game in midweek is difficult. But on the other hand, I was disappointed that we didn’t win the game because of the chances we had.”

Quakers dropped points meant that Blyth and Nantwich both overtook them because of their victories over Hyde and Ramsbottom respectively.
