Cedric misses last pre-season friendly

Suspended by Durham FA

Darlington striker Cedric Main will miss Quakers’ last pre season friendly at home to Harrogate Town on Saturday.

Cedric was shown a red card for an of the ball incident at Dunston on Tuesday night, and Durham FA, who had jurisdiction over the game, have informed that the club that he is suspended for our next friendly game, which happens to be Saturday against Harrogate.

There is no suspension of league games, we have been told that the suspension will be finished after Saturday.

One or two other players have knocks, so manager Steve Watson will be making a couple of changes for the game against the EFL League Two side.

Pete Jameson, Joe Leesley, Toby Lees and Tom Platt will all be up against one of their previous clubs.

The game kicks off at 3pm

Quakers now have a free midweek, and start the league season at home to Kidderminster next Saturday.
