Wow, what can I say about this set of boys? The boys started the morning without a goalkeeper or a defender and only six available players! So with a make shift team the boys started at a furious pace. Within minutes they found themselves 3-0 up and they never let this pace drop. The score at half time was 7 nil and the second half continued in much the same way, allowing a lot of changes to be made.
Mason Theaker - played in every position possible and was brilliant in them all. Played The first half in goal and kept a clean sheet. Great team player.
Alva Williamson - played in defence and then in goal. A real team player, tough in his tackle and scored a free kick from the half way line and kept a clean sheet.
Jack Cameron - tackled everyone in sight and was even seen tackling an empty crisp packet! Scored 2 goals and never gave up running! Man of the match.
Riley Singh - this boy turned up when he was meant to be on holiday and like the rest of the boys was brilliant. He was asked to play in several positions and scored a well deserved hatrick.
Harry Ward - what this boy can do with a football at his feet amazes me. Harry struggled with his breathing today but still worked hard for the team and scored a great goal.
Kai Martin - what a player he is turning out to be. Not only did he score 5 goals he kept the team going throughout and have stated letting the boys have their own team talk and Kai is instrumental in this.
Brilliant performance boys - so, so proud!
