Defender Elliot Forbes joins Quakers

Former Gateshead defender is reunited with his former boss
Darlington have today signed centre half Elliot Forbes on a one year contract, subject to FA clearance.
Elliot, who is 25, started his career at Gateshead as a youngster in 2018, and made 56 appearances for them , helping them win promotion to the National League in 2022. He played under Steve Watson for a spell.
He had a loan at Spennymoor in season 2022-23 in which he played eight games, and then he had another loan period at Blyth before he left Gateshead in January 2024. He then joined Blyth on a permanent basis for the rest of the season before he left Croft Park at the end of the campaign
