Depleted reserves go to Gateshead

The reserves are without several players when they go to Gateshead Leam Lane in the TWR Wearside League today – and that has opened the door for some of the club’s youngsters.

The regular keeper is missing, so Aaron Skelton will go in goal, while Marshall Topham is added to the squad from the Under 17s. New signing Lewis Richmond will probably make his debut.

However, Jamie O’Brien, Reece Greenwood, Ryan Noone and Jack Harrison are all missing.

Joint manager Mark Fanning said; “We’re due a win against Gateshead, because we’ve lost to them twice this season already, in the league and the Durham Trophy.”
