Darlington Football Club has announced an Early Bird price freeze on ALL season tickets for the 2015-16 bought (and fully paid for) before Friday 24 April 2015.

With the DFC500 and Vice-Presidents’ Clubs fund raising initiatives now closed, and funds in place for the return to the town, the focus now switches towards funding next season’s operational activities.

Highlights of the 2015/16 ‘Early Bird’ Season Ticket offer:

  • Adult Season Ticket from £175
  • Concession* Season Ticket from £100
  • Junior prices (under 16s) from £45 (reduced from £50)
  • Early Bird Price Freeze ensures no inflation and/or other price adjustments for additional league matches implemented from the end of the current season
  • Priority ticket booking for any all ticket pre-season friendlies
  • Limited number of Early Bird seated season tickets to be made available, due to prior allocation of DFC500 and V-P seating and a minimum of 250 seats being required to satisfy FA Category C Ground Grading
  • Early Bird standing season ticket applicants offered priority to upgrade to seated accommodation at Blackwell Meadows

DFC badgeAll DFC500 Club, Vice-Presidents’ Club and Early Bird season ticket holders will be given priority ticket booking opportunities for any pre-season friendlies against opposition requiring tight ticket administration.

Due to the need to control the number of seated tickets issued (i.e. to not exceed the 250 that will be constructed at Blackwell Meadows as phase one of the development), the number of seated Early Bird season tickets is to be limited to 100 (on a strictly first come, first served basis) – however, all standing Early Bird season ticket holders will be offered the chance to upgrade to seated accommodation at Blackwell Meadows once the additional number of available seats has been confirmed, and before being offered to the fans generally.

Chief Executive Martin Jesper explains: “The commitment of the Club to providing value for money and to making the game accessible to the widest possible cross-section of supporters means I’m pleased to confirm a price freeze on all Early Bird Season Ticket applications.

“Moving forward we will aim to offer diverse payment options to help fans spread the cost. A fair pricing policy and the ambition demonstrated by the Club both on and off the pitch will continue to ensure that average attendance are driven upwards on our return to Darlington, giving the team the best possible chance of success.”

As soon as the Club has confirmation of its league status for next season, an increase in prices will be announced to reflect (i) an increase of 2 home league games per season or (ii) an inflationary increase. At that time, match day gate prices for 2015-16 will also be announced.
