Foodbank collection on Saturday
By Ray Simpson
Our annual appeal to help our community
At Saturday's home game against Rushall Olympic, we will be holding our annual foodbank appeal to help our community in aid of King's Church.
The food store at King's Church, is a community wide project which began in February 2012. It aims to serve people around us by providing emergency food resources for people in the Darlington Borough.
The cost of living crisis is starting to bite as well all know, so we are asking for donations for King's Church to put together food parcels. Any food would be greatly appreciated, but in particular, they are short of:
Gravy
Packets of Smash
Tinned vegetables
Packets of biscuits
Custard
Tinned rice pudding
Tinned fruit
Hotdogs
Squash
Men's gloves
Men's deodorant
If you would like to donate to King's Foodbank, then please bring your donation along to our home game against Rushall Olympic this Saturday. There will be drop off points at the home turnstiles.
Many thanks for your help
