Quakers finish friendlies with deserved draw against Harrogate

Facing EFL team

Quakers finished their pre season friendly programme with a good 0-0 draw against EFL League Two wide Harrogate Town.

Quakers were missing a couple of players which meant a game in midfield for Elliot Forbes alongside the returning Will Hatfield.

There weren't many chances in the game, Darlington's best being a right foot shot by Jack Maskell that went just wide, while Pete Jameson had a couple of saves to make at the other end.

But Quakers will be happy with a draw against a team that fielded its full squad and used it to its full extent.

Here's a video interview with assistant manager Terry Mitchell
