We suffered our first defeat of the season on the road as we were comfortably beaten 5-2 by Kidderminster Harriers. An early Joe Wheatley sending off meant we played over three quarters of the game with ten men. Simon Ainge and Jordan Nicholson both got on the scoresheet for us in the second half but it was not enough.

Chorley kept their 100% record going and are still yet to concede after a 1-0 victory over Hereford. Josh Wilson scored the only goal of the game in stoppage time to hand the Bulls their first defeat.

Boston are second after a 2-0 win at Altrincham. Adam Marriott opened the scoring early in the second half with Nathan Arnold sealing the win in the final minute.

Telford are the surprise high flyers in third after a 3-2 win at our neighbours Spennymoor.  Mark Anderson had given the Brewers the lead, but two goals in three minutes from Dominic Udoh turned the game on its head with Ellis Deeny making it 3-1. By this stage Telford were down to ten and David Foley gave Spenny late hope, but they could not find the equaliser.

Former Quaker Adam Nowakowski scored in the final minutes to rescue a point for Bradford Park Avenue at home to Stockport County. Matthew Warburton had put County ahead late on before Nowakowski’s equaliser in the 88^th minute to leave both sides in a playoff spot.

Leamington occupy the final playoff spot despite being held by Guiseley, who are yet to grab a win. Twice the Brakes lead through Matthew Stenson and Junior English, but Paul Clayton and Rowan Liburd were able to earn the 2-2 draw for Guiseley.

At the other end of the table Southport picked up their first points of the season with an empathic victory at Nuneaton, who are now bottom of the table. Jack Sampson and Dion Charles both scored twice for Southport, meaning Dior Angus’ late strike for Nuneaton was just a consolation as they lost 4-1.

York and Curzon Ashton remain in the top ten after holding each other to a 1-1 draw. Joe Guest put the Nash ahead before Jon Parkin levelled in the final quarter of an hour.

Brackley Town picked up a heavy win at Ashton United. James Armson scored twice as well as goals from Glenn Walker, Lee Ndlovu and Greg Smith. Craig Hobson netted in injury time for Ashton, but it was Brackley who ran out 5-1 winners.

The final game of the week saw Alfreton beat Blyth 3-1. Tom Denton put Alfreton ahead before Robbie Dale levelled before half time. However, Denton grabbed his second with Thomas Platt sealing the victory.
