Midfielder Alex Payne joins Quakers

Former York midfielder arrives
Quakers have today signed midfielder Alex Payne, who has impressed for us in pre season friendlies.
Alex, who is 18, joined York City as a 7 year old and worked his way through the age groups, playing for their academy in successive National League Cup finals.
Darlington manager Steve Watson has kept an eye on Alex’s progress since he was York manager, and invited him to take part in our pre season friendlies in which he has subsequently done well.
