Monday night’s netcafe with chief executive officer Dave Mills has been judged an “encouraging success”.
The netcafe – which consisted of questions e mailed into Dave and the answers placed on the club website – received over 600 hits on the website between 8 and 10pm on Monday night.
“There were some very interesting and well thought-out questions,” Dave said. “I was very pleased to answer them. I thought the netcafe presented fans with a good opportunity to ask questions if they couldn’t attend the AGM or the fans’ forum, or if they had thought of a question after those events.
“I was particularly pleased that we received questions from Florida and Australia. It’s great to engage with our fans no matter where they are in the world. We had fans from 47 countries around the world logging on to our website – it just goes to show how closely the fans follow the club’s fortunes.”
The club will hold another netcafe soon, with supporters given the chance to pose questions to another prominent member of the club.
